Cost and Registration

Ski racing is not an elite sport! Our club is committed to making ski racing accessible. Keeping fees manageable is a priority — our fees are among the lowest in the province for similar programming. As we need to balance the budget and support our amazing coaches, we also rely heavily on fundraising, grants, and community support. Used equipment is a great way to control gear costs, and the following programs are available to provide financial support for families based on need:

Pricing – Rates listed below apply until December 1st. 

Fees increase by $50 for registration and payments made after December 1st. The BC Alpine Program Fees noted below are outlined here.

  • Shredders programs include 4 additional days on-snow with coaches—at no extra cost—for races at Whitewater, Red Mountain, Phoenix Mountain, and Salmo Ski Hill (lift tickets included). 
  • Dryland training for U12 and U14 included.
  • Additional fee for dryland training for U16 and up.
  • BC Alpine fees are primarily for mandatory insurance.
  • Add $68.90 for parents’ BC Alpine General Member Fee (mandatory insurance requirement).
  • After December 1st regular fees apply—$50 higher for each program.

How To Register

Register using our online registration system. If new to the team, Create Account or sign in with your existing Facebook, Microsoft, or Google credentials. If returning, use your preferred sign in method. Then follow these steps:

  1. Add family members. This includes you, your spouse/other parent, and the children who are participating in a program with the Whitewater Ski Team.
  2. Choose your family’s registration to select your BC Alpine membership type. Both parents must register for the BC Alpine General Membership ($34.45 each) or the registration cannot be processed.
  3. Choose your family’s programs to select the Whitewater Ski Team program your child/children will be participating in.
  4. Electronically sign liability waivers for yourself, your spouse/other parent, and your child/children.
  5. Submit registration. You will be invoiced by email soon after submission. Once you receive your invoice, please remit payment promptly. Early bird pricing available for registrations submitted by December 1.
