Whitewater Team Values:Community

:

I would like to celebrate the work of our coaches and parent volunteers for being part of this incredible Whitewater Ski Team.

We do much more than teach skiing. We are a community.

A community that supports each other and works through the inevitable challenges by applying our strong team values to guide us as we strive to become better.

We remind our coaches and athletes to put effort into nurturing the community within each of their groups every week. It takes effort.

The benefit of being part of a supportive team community is huge. For athletes this can be finding a place where they feel loved and supported by fellow athletes and coaches so that they can be truly vulnerable and not afraid to fail on their own path to their personal best performance and to be the best version of themselves. They will make mistakes along the way and we will all be there to help them as they get back up and try again.

This is the key to building successful athletes at all levels, and all of our athletes find their own success.

We coaches, parents and athletes all benefit from being a part of this community and many of us find a sense of belonging and purpose along the way.

Way to go Whitewater Ski Team!
