Dryland training

Whitewater Ski Team offers dryland training throughout the fall, starting at the beginning of October for U12/U14 and September for U16 and up. All provincial and masters athletes are encouraged to participate. Dryland training includes building and strengthening “ski” muscles prior to getting on snow, helping prevent injuries. It includes building cardio, balance training, agility, flexibility, and core strength. Dryland Training is included in the program fees for U12 and U14. There is an additional cost for U16 and up.
